OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 25 (YPA) -Israeli Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Eli Cohen, stated that “Tel Aviv, at the end of the war on Gaza, will be closer than ever to an agreement with Saudi Arabia.”
In an exclusive statement to “Eilaf” newspaper, Eli Cohen asserted that “common enemies are the basis of regional alliance,” claiming that “Iran, which funds the Houthis in Yemen and in Yemen and Hezbollah, aims to destabilize the Middle East.”
Cohen clarified that the Israeli attack on Yemen “sends a message to Iran that Israel is also capable of reaching Tehran.”
Cohen continued, “On the other hand, this attack sends a message to Saudi Arabia that Israel is a reliable ally and will stand with the Kingdom in the war against Iran if necessary.”
The Israeli minister hinted at the possibility of normalization with Saudi Arabia, saying, “In my estimation, at the end of the war, we will be closer than ever to an agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which now clearly understands who its enemies are and who its partners are.”
