HODEIDAH, July 16 (YPA) –At least seven civilians were killed and six others wounded on Monday in 12 airstrikes by Saudi-led coalition war jets on separate areas in Hodeidah province, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
Earlier the day, three random airstrikes hit two cars on the road between Zabid and al-Jarrahi districts of Hodeidah province, killing a citizen and injuring six others.
In the mid-day, two airstrikes hit a citizen’s home in al-Tuhaita district, killing six citizens, including women and children.
In Bajel district, the coalition fighter jets launched two raids on a stone crusher of a citizen.
This comes in the light of the continued indiscriminate bombing that target civilians; the most recent was on Sunday, when the coalition warplanes bombed farms of citizens in Bajel area.
On another hand, the Yemeni army carried out a large-scale offensive against military sites of the coalition in the outskirts of al-Duraihemi and Hais districts, which prompted the coalition to wage over five random air raids on several areas to stop the attack.
