Israeli occupation forces arrest 23 Palestinians in West Bank

WEST BANK, July 30 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 23 Palestinians during a series of raids across various parts of the occupied West Bank early Wednesday, according to Palestinian sources.

In the northern West Bank, local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus, including Al-Ein refugee camp, where they searched homes, ransacked properties, and arrested two residents from the camp and one from the Al-Jabal Al-Shamali area.

They also raided the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, detaining two individuals after searching their homes.

In the southern city of Hebron, ten Palestinians were reportedly detained.

According to local reports, the occupation forces  raided homes in the city as well as in Khirbet Umm al-Khair in the Masafer Yatta area, arresting eight residents there.

The Activist Ali Rashid Awad was detained from Khirbet Tuba, also in Masafer Yatta.

Residents of Umm al-Khair and neighboring villages in Masafer Yatta have been facing ongoing raids and settler violence, which has resulted in casualties and significant damage to property, according to local sources.

In Qalqilya, the occupation forces entered the city through its eastern entrance and deployed in the Al-Dawawin neighborhood and near Abu Ali Iyad Square, though no arrests were reported.

In Bethlehem, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Ubeidiya (Al-Arouj), east of the city, where they searched the homes of two brothers, without reporting  arrests.

Additionally, the occupation forces raided the towns of Janata, Al-Asakra, Harmala, and Beit Falouh.
