Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 38,919

GAZA, July 20 (YPA) – The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 38,919 martyrs and 89,622 injured, the Ministry of Health in the Strip announced on Saturday.

The ministry said in a statement, “The Israeli occupation committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 37 and injuring 54 others during the past 24 hours.”

The statement added that a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

For its part, the government media office in Gaza announced that the number of martyrs among journalists had risen to 161 since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7.

The Israeli targeting of residential squares and homes throughout the Gaza Strip continues on the 288th day of the war on the Strip.
