Unknown gunmen kill citizen in Abyan

ABYAN, July 16 (YPA) – A citizen was killed on Tuesday by unidentified gunmen in Abyan governorate, which is under the control of the Southern Transitional factions affiliated with the UAE.

Local sources in the governorate reported that two armed men riding a motorcycle, believed to belong to the transitional factions, attacked the citizen, Shaybah Ahmed Belaid Al-Alawi, with a hail of bullets in the middle of the main street of the city of Ahwar, east of Zunjbar city.

The sources explained that the citizens tried to transfer Al-Alawi to the hospital, but he died, while the perpetrators of the incident managed to escape to an unknown destination amid the spread of transitional points, without knowing the reasons.
