Swedish police suppress student demonstration in support of Palestine

STOCKHOLM, May 30 (YPA) – Sweden’s policemen unleashed their dogs to attack pro-Palestinian students in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, after organizing a demonstration rejecting the crimes of the Israeli enemy in Gaza Strip.

In the demonstration, held the campus of the Royal Institute of Technology, the protesters demanded an end to the ongoing brutal aggression has been imposed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip for eight months.

Pro-Palestine supporters called for stopping the occupation’s crimes and horrific massacres against the displaced people in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, expressing their solidarity with the student movement demanding cutting off investments with companies that support “Israel.”

Video clips, circulated on social media, has documented the moments when the Swedish police suppressed the demonstration and violently attacked students participating in the protests.

During the past two days, many European cities and capitals around the world have witnessed massive protests denouncing the horrific massacres that Israeli occupation’s committing against the displaced in the city of Rafah, which is witnessing a violent Israeli invasion and continued target of the camps and civilian gatherings.
