Civilian killed in Shabwa shooting

SHABWA, May 29 (YPA) – A citizen was killed on Wednesday when known gunmen opened fire in the coalition-held Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

Local sources said that Ali Ahmed Lashdaq bin Awir al-Nasi al-Hilali on his car was killed in front of the headquarters of the UAE-backed Ataq Military Axis Command in the province.

The sources affirmed that the gunmen fled to an unknown destination despite the spread of military points of the so-called “Shabwa Defense Forces” funded by the UAE.
