Russia praises Sanaa decision about coalition prisoners

MOSCOW, May 29 (YPA) – The Federal Republic of Russia praised on Wednesday the positive decision that the Sanaa government had taken last Sunday.

In a post on the X, the Russian Embassy in Yemen, welcomed the unilaterally decision taken to release 112 war prisoners belonging to the coalition forces.

It called on the parties in the coalition to provide mutual humanitarian concessions so that the largest possible number of families can be reunited.

“Russia’s conviction lies in taking confidence-building measures to be a primary motivation for a peaceful solution and settlement in Yemen,” the embassy added.
