GAZA, May 29 (YPA) – The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” announced on Wednesday that they were able to kill four soldiers of the Israeli occupation forces in an operation east of the city of Rafah.
The Al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters carried out a complex operation yesterday, Tuesday, after luring an occupation army force into an ambush near Al-Shoka School, east of the city of Rafah.
Al-Qassam indicated that its fighters detonated a bomb with the force of the occupation army, killing four soldiers and wounding a number of others.
The brigades explained that immediately after the arrival of the rescue forces, Al-Qassam Brigades fighters were able to snipe two of the force’s soldiers, noting that during an attempt by its fighters to capture one of the soldiers; the enemy killed him.
A helicopter landed at the site to transport the dead and injured during the operation, the brigades added.
