Meteorology renew its warnings to citizens of heat wave

SANAA, May 20 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology expected very hot weather in deserts, inland plateaus, and coastal areas, with maximum temperatures ranging between 36-42 degrees Celsius.

In its weather bulletin, the center renewed its warnings to citizens in those areas, against extremely hot weather and direct exposure to the sunshine.

The center affirmed that rain of varying intensity may be prevailed in some areas of the provinces of Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj and west of Saada and Dhamar, in addition, Dhalea, Abyan, Shabwa, and the coasts of Hadramout and Mahra.

It also warned of the flow of torrents in reefs and valleys, as wells as to the decrease in horizontal visibility on mountain roads due to rainfall and the formation of fog on mountain roads.
