World leaders offer condolences following death of Iran’s President, his companions

WORLD, May 20 (YPA) – World leaders and heads of state have mourned the martyr President Ibrahim Raisi and his companions, who were killed as a result of the helicopter crash that carried them on Sunday, in the northwest of the country.

They sent messages of condolences and sympathy to the Leader of the Revolution in Iran, Ali Khamenei, and the Iranian people following the martyrdom of President Ibrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions in a helicopter crash that carried them in the northwest of the country on Sunday evening.

The helicopter’s passengers, including Ebrahim Raisi, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran’s East Azerbaijan Province Governor Malek Rahmati, and Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, the representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to East Azarbaijan province, along with several other people were martyred in the incident.
