UNRWA: Zionist enemy’s claims that there are safe areas in Gaza are false, misleading

GAZA, May 12 (YPA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) described on Sunday the Zionist enemy’s claims of the existence of safe areas in Gaza as false and misleading.

According to Ma’an News Agency, the agency’s Commissioner General, Philippe Lazzarini, expressed, through a post on the X platform, his concern about the ongoing displacement of Palestinians from their homes, noting that there are no safe areas in Gaza.

Lazzarini stated that the Zionist enemy authorities continue to issue forced displacement orders, also known as orders to evacuate residential areas, and this forces the Palestinians in Rafah to flee to any place.

He said, “Since the war began last October, most of Gaza’s residents have moved several times, and have desperately searched for safety that they have never found”.

He also stressed that the Zionist enemy’s claims that there are safe areas in Gaza are false and misleading, and that there is no safe place in Gaza.
