SHABWA, May 12 (YPA) – Leader of the Islah Party, Hamid Al-Ahmar, secretly signed a contract with a Chinese company to implement a strategic oil project in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.
Sources familiar with matter reported that a deal aimed to establish an oil refinery in Shabwa with a Chinese company without mentioning its name.
The sources indicated that the “head of the Saudi-formed Presidential Leadership Council”, Rashad Al-Alimi, tried to take over the project through the company owned by him, “Dolph Oil Service,” no more details reported.
