Hamas calls on int’l community to abandon timid positions for ending aggression

GAZA, May 12 (YPA) – Hamas movement called on the international community and the United Nations to leave the box of timid positions and put pressure to stop the Zionist aggression against the defenseless civilians.

“The Zionist occupation’s announcement of the start of a military operation in Jabalia, and warning its citizens to evacuate, amidst criminal air and artillery bombardment, is a confirmation of the Zionist terrorist government’s insistence on continuing the genocidal war against our people in the Gaza Strip,” the statement said.

It indicated that this is taking place in parallel with the ongoing operation in the city of Rafah for days, with incursion and crimes in the Al-Zaytoun Square in Gaza City and the escalation of aggression against civilians in all areas of the Strip.

The movement’s statement held the US administration and its President Biden fully responsible for the escalation of these crimes against civilians, including children, women and the elderly, by continuing to provide cover for Zionist fascism to go on its crimes.

In recent hours, the occupation forces have escalated their aggression against the Gaza Strip and called on the displaced people in Rafah and northern Gaza to evacuate, in a time when the occupation fighter jets launched dozens of raids, committing horrific massacres throughout the Strip.
