UNRWA: Over 10,000 women killed in Israeli massacres in Gaza

GAZA, May 05 (YPA) -More than 10,000 women were killed in the ongoing Israeli onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip, The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Friday.

UNRWA said in a press statement posted on its “X” account, that “Israel” continues to target women in its ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

The agency added: “37 children lose their mother every single day.”

It stressed that “conditions are appalling,” noting that “over 155,000 pregnant or breastfeeding women faced with severely limited access to water and sanitary items.”

For the 211th day in a row, the Israeli occupation army continues its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, since the seventh of October, as the occupation planes bomb the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers, and homes of Palestinian civilians, destroying them above the heads of their residents and preventing the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel.
