STC militia kidnap human rights activist in Lahj

LAHJ, May 04 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia kidnapped a human rights activist in Lahj province and took him to a detention center.

Human rights sources in the province said, “Armed elements affiliated with the STC wearing masks kidnapped activist Hani Jabbar Al-Radfani yesterday, Friday, while he was in Al-Habilain market in Radfan district, and took him to an unknown destination.”

The sources indicated that Al-Radfani is one of the sons of Habeel Jabr, and suggested that he was kidnapped because of his criticism of corruption, injustice, and the collapse of various services, especially in the field of electricity.
