US-UK fighter jets carry out fresh strikes on Hodeida

HODEIDA, May 02 (YPA) – The US and British fighter jets launched on Thursday a series of air strikes on the coastal province of Hodeida, western Yemen.

A security official of the province said that the warplanes hit Hodeida International Airport with five strikes.

Earlier, the Washington and London military aircraft waged a raid on the Ras Issa area of Salif district in the same province, amid intense flights of military and reconnaissance aircraft over the province’s airspace.

The American-British aggressive raids on Yemen continue in a flagrant violation of Yemeni sovereignty and an attempt to dissuade Yemen from its decision to prevent Israeli ships from passing through the Red Sea, in clear support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, which is subjected to a genocidal war by the brutal Zionist entity.
