Iraqi novelist arrested in US for his support of Palestine

WORLD, April 24 (YPA) -US police have arrested the Iraqi novelist and academic “Sinan Antoon” for participating in protests against the “Israeli” genocide war on the besieged Gaza Strip and for standing with students of New York University who are against the Zionist aggression.

According to posts on X platform , Sinan Anton, a faculty member at New York University, was arrested yesterday for participating in pro-Palestinian protests along with a group of his colleagues at New York University.

According to Al-Sumaria website, some bloggers expressed solidarity with the Iraqi novelist Sinan Antoon, calling for his release and describing what is happening in America as “shameful”.
