Gold prices record rise in Sanaa, Aden

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – Gold prices on Wednesday continued raising in Sana’a and in the provinces under the control of coalition forces.

Sources working in the Goldsmiths’ markets said that the price of the gold pound reached to 860,000 thousand riyals in the city of Aden, while in the capital Sana’a raised to 277,000 thousand riyals.

The last update of prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital Sanaa, according to the “Yemen Economist” website, is as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 33,800 YER, Sale = 36,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 272,000 YER, Sale = 277,000 YER.

The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as to follow:-
– Price of one gram of Gold 21 karat: Purchase = 105,000 YER, Sale = 112,000 YER.
– Price of one Gold Pound: Purchase = 843,000 YER, Sale = 860,000 YER.
