ISLAMABAD, April 13 (YPA) – At least 11 people were killed in two terrorist attacks in the Nushki district of Balochistan province in Pakistan, near the border with Afghanistan, the GEO Channel reported on Saturday.
The channel added that in the first attack, unknown persons stopped a passenger bus that was on its way from Quetta to Taftan, checked the documents of its passengers, and kidnapped nine of them.
Later, the bodies of the kidnappers were found with gunshot wounds near the kidnapping site. All of the dead were workers from the Pakistani province of Punjab.
In the second attack, unidentified people began checking cars on the N-40 highway and opened fire on a car that refused to stop, killing two people and wounding three others.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his condolences over the killing of civilians, vowing to punish terrorists and their helpers.
