Sanaa warns shipping companies linked to Israel against sailing across Indian Ocean

SANAA, March 14 (YPA) – Sanaa warned international shipping companies linked to Israel on Thursday against sailing through the Indian Ocean towards the Cape of Good Hope.

The head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abdusalam, confirmed that Yemen headed towards escalation by pursuing Israeli ships in the Indian Ocean and preventing them from sailing towards Good Hope as a result of the persistence of the Israeli aggression against Gaza.

In a post on his account on the “X,”  Abdusalam noted that “international shipping companies linked to Israel must take this escalation very seriously and realize that any ship linked to Israel is vulnerable to Yemeni missiles.”

He reaffirmed Yemen’s firm and continuous position alongside Gaza until the Israeli aggression stops, the siege is lifted, and aid enters the entire Strip.

Abdusalam continued, saying: “Yemen will not abandon this position and consider it a religious, humanitarian, and moral responsibility that requires every Muslim and free person in this world to support Gaza.”

Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, leader of the Ansarallah movement, had previously revealed that naval military operations had reached unprecedented extents.

Sayyed Abdulmalik confirmed in a televised speech on Thursday evening that the Yemeni armed forces began carrying out military operations to prevent ships linked to the Israeli enemy from crossing the Indian Ocean and from South Africa towards the Good Hope Road.

He announced that the recent operations in Yemen reached unprecedented extents, with three operations in the Indian Ocean, noting that the total number of ships and barges targeted amounted to 73.

The Ansarallah leader affirmed that this advanced step comes in light of American intransigence and the escalation of aggression, which resulted in the expansion of the conflict, the widening of the circle of war and events, and the tense situation in the region in general.
