Report: 34 Saudi soldiers, militiamen shot dead over 2 days
SANAA, July 12 (YPA) – At least 34 Saudi soldiers and militiamen were shot dead in separate sniping operations carried out by the Yemeni army units over the past two days, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The army’s snipers shot dead six militiamen loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in south of al-Duraihemi district of Hodeidah province, in the western coast of Yemen.
In Jawf province, three militiamen were gunned down in al-Maslob district.
In the southern province of Lahj, the snipers unit shot dead three militiamen of the coalition in Yabar Mountain in Naqil al-Khashaba area.
In byond-border fronts, 19 Saudi soldiers were killed in Jizan region in separate sniping operations off al-Khoba area and Bajal and Jabal Dokhan sites and off al-Jaberi site and east of al-Dood site.
In Asir region, three Saudi soldiers were shot dead in Majaza area and in Qalat Hassan in al-Rabuah area.
In Najran region, the army snipers shot dead a Saudi soldier in al-Shorfa site.
