Hezbollah carries series of military operations against Israeli military sites

BIERUT, Feb. 29 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah on Thursday carried out a series of military operations targeting several Israeli military sites.

Hezbollah said in a statement that its fighter targeted the “Elon” colony and a number of military occupation sites with batches of Katyusha rockets in response to the Israeli attacks on villages and civilians in southern Lebanon.

It added that the Ramtha site of Zionist in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms was targeted with missile weapons.

The statement affirmed that military operation came also in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their resistance.

Earlier, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced that it fired artillery at a deployment of Israeli occupation’s soldiers in the vicinity of the Jal al-Alam site on the border with occupied Palestine.

Israeli media outlets reported that the “Shlomi” settlement, north of occupied Palestine, was hit with a heavy missile salvo launched from Lebanon, adding that the sounds of 5 explosions were heard.

On Wednesday, the Resistance confirmed that it had attacked a deployment of occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Birkat Risha site with rocket weapons, noting that the Israeli Sammaqa and Ramtha sites in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms were also targeted with rocket weapons.
