Amnesty International: Israel defies ICJ ruling to prevent genocide in Gaza

GAZA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Amnesty International stated on Monday that “Israel” defies the International Court of Justice (ICJ)’s rulings by not taking take even the bare minimum steps to prevent genocide and obstructing the delivery of aid into Gaza.

The organization said in a statement that “Israel” failed to take the minimum steps to protect Palestinians.

The Israeli authorities have failed to ensure sufficient life-saving goods and services are reaching a population at risk of genocide and on the brink of famine, the organization stressed.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) confirmed on Monday, that “Israel” did not comply with the order of the United Nations Supreme Court to provide urgent assistance in the Gaza Strip, a month after the issuance of a ruling by the International Court of Justice in The Hague ordering Israel to calm its war.
