British newspaper: Yemen has succeeded in imposing deterrence equations in Red Sea

LONDON, July 31 (YPA) – British media reported on Wednesday that Yemen, despite the ongoing blockade and economic and military aggression, has managed to develop advanced missile systems and drones, contributing to a reshaping of the regional balance of power.

A report published by the British newspaper “The Sun” highlighted the military capabilities that Yemen has successfully built over the past years, which have confounded the United States, the Israeli occupation, and Europe alike.

The report explained that these developments have become a source of great concern for the Israeli occupation and the United States, especially with the impact of Yemeni military operations in the Red and Arabian Seas and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The report also highlighted Yemen’s support for Gaza, which has disrupted trade in Israeli ports. Yemen has imposed an effective naval blockade that has paralyzed the port of Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) and completely closed it.

The British newspaper also pointed out the inability of the United States, the Israeli occupation, and the European Union to break the will of the Yemeni people, who have succeeded in imposing new deterrence equations in the Red Sea, despite military attempts, economic sanctions, and ongoing political interventions.

The report added that the Zionist and American responses to Yemeni capabilities have been characterized by hesitation and ineffectiveness, reflecting the growing confusion resulting from the rise of Yemeni military power, which is changing the rules of engagement and posing a major challenge to the American project in the region.

The newspaper’s report emphasized that the ongoing battle in the Red Sea today is a prominent example of Yemen’s resilience and ability to confront major challenges despite the blockade and ongoing international pressure.
