SANAA, Feb. 26 (YAP) – A Yemeni law team is preparing to sue America and Britain before the International Criminal Court (ICC) over the aggression launched by the two countries against Yemen.
Head of the legal team, lawyer and advisor Abdul Rahman Al-Najjar, said that the ongoing American-British aggression against Yemen is a major violation of international law and conventions, indicating that the team will file a lawsuit regarding this aggression to the ICC.
“There is conclusive evidence of the United States and Britain violating a sovereign state and carrying out military operations on Yemeni lands,” Al-Najjar revealed. “The revolutionary and political leadership supports filing this lawsuit in parallel with the lawsuit against the crimes and massacres of the Zionist entity.”
According to Al Masirah TV, the head of the legal team called on the concerned authorities to provide the team with videos and photos of the targeted sites and reports of forensic evidence, as well as engineering teams on the types of weapons used in those attacks.
Al-Najjar added: There is international denunciation of those attacks and support and sympathy by international legal legist for Yemen.
