Jordan prevents protesters from closing Sheikh Hussein Bridge

WORLD, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Jordanian security authorities closed three main crossings around the Sheikh Hussein Bridge on the border with occupied Palestine as part of efforts to prevent hundreds of protesters from reaching the crossing.

This came after protesters gathered near the Crossing to prevent the delivery of Jordanian products to the Israeli entity.

After the closure of two main roads, the protesters decided to gather in an open square and perform Friday prayers there.

The Popular Forum for Supporting the Resistance and Gaza had decided to return to demonstrating in the Jordan Valley in rejection of the facilitations provided by the authorities for a land cargo bridge between Gulf countries and the Israeli entity.
