“Israel” prevents entry of food aid into northern Gaza: UN

NEW YORK, February 01 (YPA) – United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said that the Israeli occupation’s entity has prevented the entry of food and most humanitarian aid into northern Gaza.

“The killing, famine, thirst and destruction in the Gaza Strip for about 120 days is a disgrace to humanity,” Guterres said in a talk about Gaza situation.

He expressed his concern about the humanitarian situation is being experienced by the Palestinians in the Strip.

Guterres pointed out that he is terrified by the continuing military strikes that lead to the death and injury of civilians.

He stressed that the Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack cannot justify collective punishment of the people in Gaza, calling for adherence to the binding decisions of the International Court of Justice.
