Four people martyred, 30 injured in fresh Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon

BEIRUT, Sept. 05 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that four people were killed and 30 others injured in Israeli occupation airstrikes carried out on Friday, according to a final casualty toll.

In a statement carried by Al-Manar, the Lebanese Hezbollah-affiliated news channel, the ministry said one person was killed and three others, including a woman, were injured in the city of Nabatieh in the fresh Israeli aggression.

Two people were killed in the town of Kfar Rumman, while an 18-year-old woman was killed and seven others, including three women and two children, were injured in Mifdoun.

One person was also injured in Al-Kfour in Nabatieh district, while two others were injured in Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

The ministry added that 16 people, including four women and three children, were injured in Al-Ramadiyah in the Tyre District, while another person was injured in Ain al-Tineh in the Western Bekaa.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation has escalated its aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages and cities as well as civilian sites, resulting in thousands of deaths and injuries and the displacement of around 1.5 million Lebanese.

On June 18, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said an Islamabad memorandum of understanding had been signed electronically between the United States and Iran and included a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. However, the occupation forces have continued to carry out daily violations of the agreement.
