Hezbollah calls for national unity to confront Israeli aggression against Lebanon

BEIRUT, Sept. 05 (YPA) – Hezbollah has accused Israeli occupation of escalating its aggression and committing acts of violence across Lebanon, citing continued bombardment, civilian fatalities, and the widespread destruction of homes and essential infrastructure.

In an official statement, the party said the ongoing attacks are being carried out with full US partnership and backing.

According to the statement, these actions aim to pressure and blackmail Lebanese authorities in an attempt to trigger internal strife within the country.

Hezbollah rejected official government assertions that direct negotiations and the framework agreement are yielding political achievements, stating that these claims are invalidated by Israel’s continued occupation, military operations, and loss of Lebanese lives.

The party concluded by calling on the Lebanese public to stand united behind a cohesive national position to defend the country’s sovereignty and strength against Israeli aggression.
