Palestinian killed by Israeli occupation fire west of Jenin

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 29 (YPA) – A Palestinian youth was killed by  Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Yamun, west of Jenin, early on Monday.

Palestinian sources reported that the young man, Thaer Naeem Hamou (21 years old), succumbed to his injuries caused by Israeli forces’ gunfire to his abdomen, despite diligent attempts to provide medical assistance at the Hadeel Medical Center.

Following the announcement of Hamou’s martyrdom, a large protest march took place in Al-Yamun condemning his execution.

National action factions condemned the incident and declared the procession of his body after the Dhuhr prayer on Monday.

According to sources, Israeli forces raided several homes in the area, conducted searches, and assaulted the residents, leading to confrontations in the region.
