Sanaa delegation discusses in Moscow int’l efforts to stop genocide in Gaza

MOSCOW, Jan. 25 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul- Salam, met in Moscow with the Special Representative of the Russian President for Middle East and African Affairs, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov.

“In the meeting, the situation in the region was discussed, especially the crimes of genocide that are taking place in Gaza, which are condemned and rejected, Abdul-Salam said on the X platform.

The two sides discussed the need to intensify international efforts to pressure America and Israel to stop the genocide in Gaza.

He confirmed that Yemen’s position in support of Gaza and the American-British aggression it was subjected to in order to protect Israel had been clarified.

“America’s first priority is to stop the aggression against the Gaza Strip and bring humanitarian aid, not to go towards militarizing the Red Sea,” Abdul-Salam added.

During the meeting, the latest developments in Oman-mediated negotiations and discussions with Saudi Arabia, regarding developments in the Yemeni political process, were also reviewed.
