Ansarallah spokesman: Sanaa’s position has not changed after US-led attacks
SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Ansarallah spokesman and head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abdulsalam, confirmed on Monday that Sanaa’s position has not changed after the US-led strikes.
Abdulsalam indicated in a statement to Reuters on Monday that the Yemeni strikes would continue on ships bound for Israeli entity.
He said, “Our position on the events in Palestine and the aggression against Gaza has not changed and will not change, neither after the strike nor after the threats,” adding, “Attacks to prevent Israeli ships or those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine will continue.”
Abdusalam pointed out that Sanaa’s demand is to end the criminal aggression in Gaza and bring humanitarian aid, such as food and medicine, into the Gaza Strip in the north and south.
He affirmed that communications with the international community are continuing to clarify Sanaa’s position and confirm that navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas are safe for all ships in the world, with the exception of Israeli ships or those heading to Israel only.
“We do not want escalation… but unfortunately, the ones who are militarizing the Red Sea and filling it with battleships, frigates, and military assets are the Americans and the British,” Abdusalam said.
