Israeli occupation forces set up military checkpoints at entrances to villages near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces early today set up two military checkpoints at the entrances to the villages of Aboud and Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah.

Palestinian sources reported that occupation forces stopped several vehicles at the checkpoints and checked Palestinians’ identification documents, causing severe traffic congestion.

According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates across the West Bank has exceeded 916, including 243 gates installed since October 7, 2023.
