Former Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque martyred in Israeli raid on his home in Gaza

GAZA, Dec. 31 (YPA) – The Former Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, The Imam of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Yusuf Salameh, was martyred on Sunday, in an Israeli raid on his home in the Al-Maghazi camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said in a statement that the Zionist occupation warplanes bombed Sheikh Salameh’s house, which led to his martyrdom and the injury of a number of his family members.
