About 20 Israeli occupation soldiers killed, wounded in Gaza

GAZA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – About 20 soldiers of the Israeli occupation army have been killed and wounded over the past 24 hours in Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on Saturday, affirmed in a military statement that the soldier were targeted when the Zionist special forces tried to penetrate the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.

In another statement, the Brigades added that a Zionist Merkava tank was destroyed with a Shawaz charge in the Sheikh Radwan area in the same city.

The statement explained the Palestinian fighters also destroyed two gatherings of occupation vehicles and soldiers in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, with mortar shells, as well as three tanks and two troop carriers were targeted with “Al-Yassin 105” shells north of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip.
