Meteorology expects clear to cold weather in various weather

SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology has expected clear and cold weather in several Yemeni provinces over the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed that the cold weather may target the mountainous highlands of the provinces of Dhamar, Bayda, Amran, Sanaa, Saada, Ibb, and Dhalea, as well as to Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Jawf, Marib, Hajjah, Mahwit and Raymah.

According to meteorology, the weather in the coastal areas would be partly cloudy in general, with the possibility of light and scattered rain on parts of the southern and western coasts, while the winds will be moderate in Socotra Archipelago, the south of the western coast, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with speeds ranging between15 to 25 knots.

It called citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients, workers during the night and early morning, and travelers to the aforementioned provinces, to take the necessary precautions against the cold weather.
