SANAA, Dec. 27 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology has expected cold to relatively cold weather in a number of provinces of Yemen, with sea disturbance as a result of active winds during the next 24 hours.
The center indicated in its weather forecast on Tuesday that the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb and Dhalea will be witnessed cold weather.
It pointed out that the weather may be relatively cool to cold in the highlands of Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, and western Marib during the night and early morning.
The center also expected active to strong winds, ranging in speed from 15 to 27 knots, on the western coast, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the western Gulf of Aden.
It called on the elderly, children, patients, and workers during the night and early morning to take the needed precautions against the cold weather.
