SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa affirmed on Tuesday that the safety of navigation routes in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea to all destinations, except the Zionist entity.
This came in letters that the ministry sent to all countries of the world and concerned organizations, including the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF).
The letters affirmed also that the military operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces in the Red and Arab Seas are directed only against the ships of the Zionist entity and ships heading to its ports.
The ministry pointed out that the Yemeni measure is purely humanitarian aiming at lifting the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and the entry food, water and medicine to civilians, noting this act will continue strictly until achieving the goal.
“Sanaa, despite being subjected to aggression and siege since March 26, 2015, has committed and is continuing to protecting navigation in the Red and Arab Bahrain,” the ministry’s letters said. “This confirms beyond any doubt that Sanaa offers the highest levels of commitment and great concern for the safety of navigation.
