Muhammad Abdulsalam: US-formed naval alliance will not affect Yemeni operations

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The official spokesman for Ansarallah and head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abdulsalam, confirmed that the attack on Palestine requires every free human being to take action to confront this arrogance.

Abdulsalam said in a press statement to the “Al-Mayadeen Net” website, “We cannot support occupied Palestine except with missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and naval operations.”

He added that the escalating Yemeni naval operations would continue at this pace and might expand according to what the military reality in the field imposes.

Abdulsalam considered that the naval alliance called for by America is “a weak group in reality, and it is dead before it was born and will not affect the Yemeni operations,” affirming that the alliance cannot be acceptable or palatable for the sake of the continuation of the Israeli aggression against Palestine.

He explained that no other ships were targeted except for ships heading to Israel or Israeli ships, noting that Western frigates and military bases on the other side of the Red Sea were unable to prevent Yemeni operations.

The Ansarallah spokesman warned the parties of the declared coalition against committing any foolishness by targeting Yemen and expanding the conflict, stressing that “Israel, America, and Western countries will not be able to deal with the consequences of any foolishness they may commit.”

He stated that the positions of the African and Arab countries bordering the Red Sea are positive so far, noting that “the Yemeni people stand by the Yemeni leadership in the face of Israeli arrogance.”

“No Yemeni can accept to be a defender and protector of Israel,” Abdulsalam said.

Abdulsalam also revealed that the detained ship cannot leave Yemeni ports except in a context decided by the people of Palestine.

He emphasized that Yemen would remain an essential partner for the people of Arab and Islamic nation in the face of any threats targeting their security or stability, referring to the fact that “Yemen has been participating since day one in a common room with the Palestinians and the rest of the axis of resistance.”
