WORLD, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that if the United States wants to “settle” behind its waters like Britain, it should be aware that there are lines in relations with Moscow that cannot be crossed.
“If they (the United States) want, sitting behind their water again like the British, they should understand that there are lines that cannot be crossed,” he said in an interview with the program “the big game” on the Russian channel one. And the qualitative accumulation of lethal weapons being transferred to Ukraine does not go unnoticed,” he said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has previously stressed that the situation in Ukraine is getting more and more complicated, noting that the Kiev authorities know very well how they can reach a settlement.
Peskov noted that Moscow is watching with great interest how the West’s rhetoric on the situation in Ukraine is changing, stressing the difficulty of predicting whether financial support for Kiev from the United States will continue.
