Israel’s occupation airlines lose about $155 million

AL-QUDS, Dec. 05 (YPA) – Israel’s occupation airlines have lost about $155 million, since the beginning of the war on Gaza, as a result of canceling flights.

According to the Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv on Monday, these companies submitted a request to stop implementing the “Tibi” Air Services Law, which contributed to these losses.

During the discussions, Deputy Director of Commercial Relations at El Al, Shlomi Zafrani, confirmed that since October 7, the company voluntarily has activated the Order 8 emergency law, even though it is not a government company, and has added hundreds of flights to meet the needs of the public.

“The company is committed to a precise pricing policy so as not to exploit the situation at the expense of consumers,” Zafrani added. “If it was not for El Al, flying would have almost stopped.”

He went on to say: “We deal with approximately 80% of passengers at Ben Gurion Airport, and despite this, Israeli aviation does not receive sufficient attention.”
