5.7 magnitude earthquake hits Bangladesh

WORLD, Dec. 02 (YPA) – An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck Bangladesh on Saturday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

Tremors were reportedly felt in Dhaka and other parts of the country around 9:35 am.

The quake was located 46 km south-southwest of Cumilla at a depth of 10 km, according to the EMSC.

No injuries or damage have been reported as a result of this earthquake.
