Pyongyang threatens to neutralize US satellites

WORLD, Dec. 02 (YPA) – Pyongyang has warned that any US interference in the work of its satellites will force it to respond and neutralize US satellites, Reuters reported

North Korea has declared that interference in the work of its satellites would be considered a declaration of war. North Korea is threatening that it will respond to any US interference in its space activities by eliminating US reconnaissance satellites.

Earlier, the Korean Central News Agency reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un received from the government’s aerospace engineering department several new satellite images of US military bases in California and Japan.

At the end of November, Pyongyang announced that it had successfully launched the military reconnaissance satellite Molejeong-1 into orbit on the Chulima-1 launch vehicle, and plans to launch several more satellites in a short period.

For its part, the South Korean Ministry of Defense confirmed that the North Korean satellite entered orbit successfully.
