GAZA, Dec. 02 (YPA) – Since the resumption of hostilities, 184 Palestinians have been killed in attacks by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip, and at least 589 others have been injured, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported
The ministry confirmed that most of the martyrs were children and women.
According to Reuters news agency, more than 20 houses were damaged as the ceasefire ended.
On the second day after the end of the seven-day truce, Israeli occupation forces intensified their airstrikes, particularly in the central southern Gaza Strip.
The eastern areas of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, have been subjected to intense bombardment since the end of the truce. By Friday evening the Israeli raids had resulted in the death of 184 people, the wounding of at least 589 others, and targeted more than 20 homes.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Al-Agha family in the western part of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Since the dawn hours of today, Israeli occupation forces have been launching violent airstrikes on the eastern areas of Khan Younis and Israeli artillery has violently and continuously shelled the Qarara area northeast of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, the media office of the Ministry of Interior and National Security in Gaza GAZAsaid.
Israeli airstrikes created a ‘brutal fire belt’ in the neighborhood of Fayyad, Al-Ghawafir, the Al-Mathan area, and Al-Abadin Street, reaching the northeastern areas of the town of Al-Qarara in Khan Yunis, while Israeli naval forces shelled the coast of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, with rockets.
Moreover, Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Al-Agha family in the western part of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
The sources pointed out that among the recent targets, a house of the Al-Abadla family was targeted in the center of Al-Qarara near the Al-Sahaba Mosque, northeast of Khan.
Violent clashes also took place between Palestinian fighters and the Israeli occupying forces on the outskirts of the Sheikh Radwan axis and Al-Ayoun Street, according to Palestinian sources.
