Pro-UAE leader beaten after being kidnapped in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 21 (YPA) – A leader in al-Amaliqa forces, funded by UAE, was kidnapped and beaten on Monday in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

Media sources confirmed that the armed gang of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) attacked the commander of one of the companies in the Amaliqa factions, Abdul Samad Abdul Khaleq Al-Hushbi, while he was passing through the main road, heading to one of the UAE’s camps in the Bir Ahmed area of Buraiqa district.

Al-Hushbi was thrown on the side of the road after being and assaulted and beaten, the sources said.

The sources stated that citizens transferred Al-Hushbi to one of the city’s hospitals to receive treatment, while the unknown gunmen managed to escape in the military vehicle to an unknown destination.
