New Saudi military reinforcements arrive in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 03 (YPA) – A large military force arrived in the city of Aden, which is under the control of factions loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in southern Yemen.

This comes amid reports of escalating disputes between the leaders of the factions loyal to the UAE on the one hand and Saudi Arabia on the other.

Saudi forces’ command in Aden have transferred “Dera Al-Watan” factions established from extremist Salafist groups to one of its camps in Aden after intensive military training in Tor Al-Baha area, west of Lahj province, close to Bab Al-Mandab strait.

The reasons and motives for the arrival of new Saudi military reinforcements to Aden were not clear.

Saudi Arabia is heading to trim the nails of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Aden, according to media reports.

On Thursday, the STC headed for official escalation against the pro-coalition government headed by Maeen Abdulmalik, who is close to the Saudi ambassador, Muhammad Al Jaber, accusing him of creating stifling crises in Aden.
