“Israel” threatens to deny visas to UN staff

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 26 (YPA) –  “Israel” had threatened to deny visas to UN staff over comments made by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, The Hebrew Broadcasting Corporation said on Wednesday.

“Following the UN secretary-general’s new speech at the Security Council, Israel will consider whether it will approve all visa applications submitted by UN staff,” the Broadcasting Corporation  said in a statement.

This position comes after growing Israeli anger over remarks made by Guterres during a session of the UN Security Council on Tuesday, which the Tel Aviv government considered “supportive” of Hamas.
