WORLD, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Luton Airport in the British capital, London, on Wednesday, suspended all flights after a massive fire broke out in the parking garage yard in Terminal 2 at the airport, causing five people to be hospitalized due to smoke inhalation.
“Sky News Network” quoted the airport management saying in a statement that: “A large fire broke out in the parking garage yard of Terminal 2 at the airport and led to a partial collapse, and emergency services rushed to the scene.”
Luton Airport is located in Bedfordshire, north-west London, and the area is home to several airlines including easyJet, Wizz Air, and Ryanair.
Footage broadcast by British media showed a multi-story building engulfed in flames, while witnesses on social media reported explosions.
