Children died by drowning in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 05 (YPA) – Two children died by drowning on Thursday in a water well in Al-Ta’iziyah district of Taiz province.

Local residents reported that Munir Abdel-Wasi al-Abbasi, 12, and his brother, Mukhtar Abdel-Wasi’ al-Abbasi, 9, died by drowning in the village of Al-Dahna of the district, while they were herding sheep next to a water pool.

The two brothers drowned while they were trying to save the life of one of the rams that fell into the pool.
